From much-respected Japanese pen-maker Ohto, who pioneered and perfected ballpoint production in Japan, the Ohto Pencil Ball ballpoint pen not only looks like a pencil, it's actually made from a pencil.

First, a jumbo hexagonal cedar pencil barrel is drilled out and fitted with a ballpoint refill. Next, a brass tip is added along with a brass-encased push-button retracting mechanism at top.

Smooth-flowing, black, oil-based ink and a broad 1.0mm tip provide a bold, smooth writing experience.
