The FAF (Fabrique en France) brass notepad is just the kind of useful elegance your desk needs -- enduring, functional and fabulous looking. First manufactured in the 1920s, it's still made in a Paris workshop built by Gustave Eifflel, a man who was particularly good at building things.  Metal fittings, metal backing with rubber dots to prevent slipping, paper fastens securely into the frame with handsome brass screws.
